Bad Seminarians Podcast: Talking About Vashti

I have known Christian and Janay since I met them while they were still seminary students. (Full disclosure: I race to Black women when I spot them on my old seminary campus because there are not many of us, and at the time I was a student, I struggled with feeling perennially invisible because of the intersection of my gender, race, and marital status. All that to say I HAD to meet Christian and Janay.)

The Bad Seminarians Podcast was born of the invisibility and hostility of being Black women studying in a white evangelical environment, but it’s also a celebration of how wonderful and expansive the Gospel truly is when it is free.
